Individual Match Play pairing sheet - Coming Soon

The qualifying rounds for the Individual Match Play Championship will be on May 6 and 7. Qualifying for the Team Match Play Championship is April 29 and 30. Pairing sheets for all matches will be posted in the pro shop. Listed below are the dates that the matches need to be completed by:

Individual Match Play You may qualify on either day. A $5 entry fee will be required to enter. You may attempt to qualify on both days but you must pay a separate entry fee each day. If you attempt to qualify twice, only your best score will count. Ties will be broken by matching cards starting with #1 handicap hole.

Members will play match play against par, with full handicap. For example, an 11 handicap will get a stroke on the first 11 handicap holes. The score for the hole against par will be determined by your net score. Scoring will be -1 (down), +1(up), or even for the hole.

The best 63 match play scores in relation to par will quality. The defending champion will automatically qualify. If there are insufficient entries to have 64 players, byes will be afforded to the low qualifiers. If the qualifying fields for each day are within 5 players, the best 32 scores for each day will qualify. If there is more than a 5 player disparity, the number of qualifiers for each day will be proportioned accordingly. For example, if on the first day, 48 players attempt to qualify and on the second day, 58 players attempt to qualify, the number will be 64x48/110=28 for the first day and 64x62/110=36 for the second day. You must have an official handicap to enter.

Individual Matches will be at full handicap. Example: Player A is a 7 handicap, Player B is a 17 handicap. Player B will receive 10 strokes, the difference in handicaps, as they fall on the card. Scoring will be match play, net score determining winner for the hole.

Individual matches are to be completed by the assigned dates. The schedule deadline for matches will be strictly adhered to. Individuals are responsible to set up their own matches, schedule early to complete before deadlines. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Tournament Committee will be final.

Team Match Play pairing sheet - Coming soon

Team Match Play You may qualify on either day. Team entry fee ($10) will be required to enter. If your team attempts to qualify on both days, it must pay a separate entry fee each day. If a team attempts to qualify twice, only the best score will count. Tie will be broken by matching cards starting with #1 handicap hole.

Teams will play the qualifying round at their full handicap. For example, an 11 handicap will get a stroke on the first 11 handicap holes. A 7 gets 7 strokes and so on. The team score for the hole against par will be determined by the best net score. Scoring will be -1 down, +1up, or even for the hole.

The best 31 team match play scores in relation to par will quality. If there are insufficient entries to have 31 teams, byes will be afforded to the low qualifiers. If the qualifying fields for each day are within 5 teams, the best 16 scores for each day will qualify. If there is more than a 5 team disparity, the number of qualifiers for each day will be proportioned accordingly. For example, if on the first day, 24 teams attempt to qualify and on the second day, 26 teams attempt to qualify, the number will be 64x24/110=14 for the first day and 64x31/110=18 for the second day. You must have an official handicap to enter.

Team Matches will be at 80% handicap. For example, Player A is a 6 handicap: His partner, Player B is a 17 handicap. Their fellow competitors, Players C and D are 12 and 20 handicaps, respectively. Player B will receive 9 strokes, Player C will receive 5 strokes and Player D will receive 11 strokes as they fall on the card. Strokes will be rounded to the nearest full stroke. A chart for stroke differences will be posted. Scoring will be match play, net team score determining winner for the hole.

Team matches are to be completed by the scheduled dates. The schedule deadline for matches will be strictly adhered to. Teams are responsible to set up their own matches, Schedule early to complete before deadlines. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Tournament Committee will be final.
